Nebraska Community Blood Bank (NCBB.ORG), a division of Innovative Blood Resources (www.innovativebloodresources.org), has been saving and sustaining lives since 1968. We are dedicated to connecting people who need life-saving blood with generous volunteers who give. Operating 4 donor centers and conducting dozens of blood drives each month, we are proud to be an independent nonprofit that supplies over 20 area hospitals and clinics with life-saving blood-from our community, for our community.Responsibilities
Summary:This position ensures excellent customer service through efficient and accurate job performance. Maintains adequate inventory of supplies on mobile truck and assures that the vehicle is clean. Ensures safe and on time delivery of the vehicle to the scheduled site and returned to the garage. Performs greeter role on blood drives. Completes all duties in a professional manner, including stripping and segmenting blood unit tubing and preparing units, samples, and donor medical records for shipment to the processing center efficiently and accurately.Schedule: Hours vary from 5:00am - 10:00pm with rotating weekends .

Upon ArrivalGreet sponsor and introduce selfFollow Drive Worksheet instructions for unloading and drive set-upb. During DriveOn drives, the driver reports to the Operational LeadProcessing UnitsMaintains and promotes inter departmental teamwork and communicationa. Participates in regular communication and monthly meetings with Operational Supervisor to discuss performance, expectations, recent events and changes in procedureb. Demonstrates flexibility, versatility and a willingness to assist coworkersc. Demonstrates dependability, punctuality and cooperationOther Duties, as assignedFor example, garage days, cleaning vehicles, etc.Benefits:
