Senior Financial Analyst

position. As a

Senior Financial Analyst , you will work under the supervision of key finance leaders including the CFO, VP of Finance, and FP&A Manager to support the company's business plan and financial operations. This role will be responsible for day-to-day activities across financial services functions including financial planning and analysis (FP&A), financial reporting, treasury/cash management, capital planning, and corporate strategy. The Senior Financial Analyst will be one of the team's subject matter experts in areas of advanced financial modeling, data management, and reporting/content organization, preparation, and presentation. This position may also be asked to assist and liaise with other company departments as needed, embrace ongoing process improvement, and complete ad-hoc assignments from time to time.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare, review, and help manage the process for weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports and presentation packages for management review that track key performance measures (i.e., sales, closings, revenues, cost of sales, expenses, inventory, build times, cash, debt, etc.) Take a lead role in helping manage the annual company budgeting process including budget preparation, formulation, project management, presentation, and execution Take a lead role in helping manage the ongoing monitoring of company performance vs. budget (including detailed variance analysis) and updates to outlook and forecast Build and maintain advanced, efficient, and intuitive financial models for the FP&A function to improve forecasting and tracking capabilities using both internal and external datasets Support real estate transaction, development, and asset management activities through ad-hoc financial modeling, market research, and other reporting as requested Support capital markets or investment-related financial modeling, reporting, and program administration, as needed Monitor economic, industry/peer, and corporate developments by analyzing available information from publications, sell-side research, public company and agency data, and other company sources Oversee/assist treasury and cash management operations including cash forecast, reconciliations, funding/transactions, and account management in compliance with controls, guidelines, and policies Identify areas in need of process improvement and be a catalyst for change by driving automation, documenting workflow, and leveraging business intelligence tools Other duties as assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, STEM, or related fields Minimum of 3 years required in corporate finance, accounting, real estate, investment banking, or similar Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills (VBA, macros, and/or programming a plus) Good working knowledge of financial concepts (i.e., IRR, NPV, ROI, Time-Value, etc.) Strong understanding of GAAP and 3-statement company financials Adept researcher, familiarity with public company filings (i.e., 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, etc.) Exceptional quantitative aptitude, highly analytical, creative problem-solver Attentive to detail, accurate under pressure, able to multitask and meet constant deadlines Highly organized, strong interpersonal skills, articulate in written and oral communications Team player, works well with people at all levels of an organization, and can work independently without need for constant supervision High degree of professionalism, passion to learn and grow in their career
