Visit oxy.com for more information.This position will be responsible for:Monthly consolidation of the Domestic O&G SegmentReviewing and posting monthly journal entriesPreparing and reviewing monthly close schedulesPreparing and reviewing quarterly and annual audit pack schedulesEnsuring monthly close deadlines are metReviewing financial statements and account reconciliationsAnalyzing financial statement activityAssisting with SAP implementationEffectively monitoring GL close processes in SAPWorking closely with other departments in recording and analyzing financial dataAssisting with internal and external audit requests, as well as other special projectsSupervise a team of Financial Analyst(s)

Qualifications

QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Accounting or related degree7+ years Accounting Experience Strong analytical and communication skillsAbility to successfully manage multiple tasks and meet short deadlinesSelf-motivated and strong work ethicMust be able to create schedules and analyses on an ad-hoc basisMust be able to perform detailed reviews of others' workStrong inter-personal skillsProactive learner and an effective trainerAdvanced excel skillsOvertime required for monthly closing activitiesUpstream Oil and Gas experience / background a plusHFM experience a plusSAP experience a plus

Desired QualificationsSAP and Oracle experienceCertified Public Accountancy
