Houston, Texas or The Woodlands, TX.Provide strong support for in house custom applications (WEP, WIRED, CNC, OBO)Proactively identify opportunities and implement enhancements to improve system and business processes to support the goals and objectives of Oxy.Continuous engagement and communication with business stakeholdersFoster a climate that supports relationship building and collaboration between business and ITApply good data security practices across applications and domainsSupport and comply with all audit requests, controls, and proceduresDevelop documentation, Knowledge Articles, Standards, Best Practices, and Procedures as applicableDesigning and maintaining business-focused analytics and reports.Working with Oxy IT and external service providers to implement system or database updates.Encourage business adoption through regular training and feedback sessions.Engage in monthly meetings and actively communicate with operations teamsWork collaboratively with other teams such as IT, business stakeholders and data management to analyze Oxy data and make corrections as needed.Responsible for ensuring the quality of data used for analysis and business making decisions.Keen eye for details and ability to identify errors or inconsistencies in the dataRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science or related fieldAt least 5 years’ experience in a software or IT capacity ideally supporting or developing IT systemsStrong attention to detail and quick problem-solving abilitiesDatabase Management maintaining large databases while ensuring data integrity and quality.Technical skills:

ASP.netSQL / Oracle Database, Transact SQL, SSIS/SSRSAzure Dev OpsPower BI

Strong Analytical skillsDemonstrated self-motivation, self-direction, and strong organizational skillsProven communication skills with demonstrated collaborations with business partners, team members and other stake holders.Ability to contribute to ever improving maturity of software development life cyclesA minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience focused on process improvement and digital transformation efforts in applications supportKnowledge/Experience of process improvement tools (Dynamics, SharePoint, PowerApps)Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and reach closure within established timeframesGood verbal/written communication, organization, and time management skillsExcellent business skills and strong ethicsOutstanding team player with strong interpersonal skills to effectively work within a multi-disciplinary group to achieve project related goalsStrong ability to work effectively and coordinate activities across various teamsDesired Qualifications:Familiar with SCRUM/ Agile methodologyPrior experience in Well Life Cycle or Field OperationsExtensive knowledge of Oil & Gas OperationsField Operations experienceRelocation
