Full-time Lake County openings

Responsible for performing assembly work utilizing lean principles (one-piece flow) to produce FDA regulated devices in a controlled work environment. Performs assembly work utilizing lean principles (one-piece flow) to produce FDA regulated devices in a controlled work environment.

DutiesAssemble components to include gluing, weaving, packaging, coiling, welding using various hand tools and bench top pneumatic pressesHandle and evaluate quality of small parts during manufacturing processesTroubleshoot simple equipment malfunctionsPromote and support a safe working environmentInform team lead/supervisor of any problems pertaining to production, parts, equipment, or processesAbility to work effectively with others in a team environmentSupports and promotes LEAN operations by following standard work to include Safety Observations, Idea Generation and Hour by Hour Board updatesDuties and responsibilities contained in this job description may change at any timeStanding/Walking expectation up to 70% - 100% dailyEducation Degree

High School Diploma or GEDPreferred Experience

Creative Arts/Crafty Capabilities (arts, weaving, musical instruments, nail painting) background helpfulSkills

Communication - Ability to read, understand and communicate oral and written instructions in English.Reasoning Ability - Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving parts and equipment variation while maintaining quality expectations. Ability to identify, communicate and trouble shoot problems.Teamwork - ability to work effectively and collaboratively with other employees.Computer Skills - Will be required to enter data at a computer terminal.Mathematical Skills - Basic counting and arithmetic skills required.
