Electronic Assembler needed in CamarilloWell Established Electric Manufacturing Company is seeking a permanent Electronic Assembler.Pay range = $21 - $27/hour.Regular hours are Monday - Friday fom 6:00am - 2:30pm.We are currently offering a limited amount of overtime, including hours on Saturday.Preferences:3

or more years of soldering experience.J-STD-001 Standard Certification preferred.Temp-to-HireSummary/ObjectivePerforms assembly of printed circuit boards, modules, power supplies, and cable harnesses.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.1. Reads and interprets assembly instructions, parts lists, assembly drawings and wiring diagrams.2. Solder electronic components to printed circuit boards in accordance with IPC J-STD-001. Identifies and selects components to be integrated into subassembly and assembly units.3. Ability to perform soldering under microscope.4. Assemble electro mechanical chassis and components, modules, subassemblies, wiring, using hardware, hand tools, torque drivers, soldering equipment.5. Use hand tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, screwdrivers and pliers to build assembly.6. Clean assemblies and components.7. Perform rework or repair to correct defects.8. Use caliper/micrometer to verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to assembly drawing and assembly instructions.9. Able to follow instructions and review work activities with supervisors.10. Other duties include press-fit of stand offs, ink stamping, conformal coat, encapsulation, RTV/epoxy applications, assembly marking, silk-screening, winding magnetics, and pack finished products for shipment.11. Complete job function in a timely manner with high quality.12. Provide hands-on job function training to coworkers as needed.13. Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Production Supervisor.14. Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.Education and Experience1. High school diploma or equivalent.2. Ability to read and comprehend diagrams and procedures written in English.3. Ability to identify components and knowledge of resistor color codes and polarity of components.4. Three or more years in a similar field preferred.5. Three or more years of soldering experience.6.
