Assistant General Manager -
The Assistant General Manager (AGM) provides overall leadership through helping the General Manager (GM) build a team of unmatched talent to deliver excellent product quality and industry-breaking guest service in every interaction; every shift. The AGM leads by example in maximizing great guest service and running great shifts, and grow the business through use of brand standards and operations excellence tools to ensure business results are achieved.What an Assistant Manager Does:Demonstrates leadership skills which positively reinforce the Blaze Pizza culture, communicates clearly with collaborative mindset to resolve conflict, problem solve and influence behaviorRecruit and equip employees to deliver great guest interactions and deliver consistent product qualityGuides performance conversations and uses coaching practices to Crew MembersCommunicates performance growth and observations to the GM to support establishing a healthy bench of Crew MembersApply local health and safety codes, and company safety and security policies on every shiftOversee inventory and labor allowances to successfully support a $1.5mm - $2.5mm restaurantEnsures safe restaurant environment conditions are met which puts guest safety is a priorityMonitors restaurant Speed with Service (SWS) and OLO performance targets every shiftServes as a role model in resolving guest feedback and works to exceed guest service standardsCoaches team on guest feedback, product quality and speed with service opportunitiesCommunicates and schedules maintenance in the restaurant, monitors equipment cleaning schedules; coordinates facility upgrades or equipment replacement with corporate officeManages labor and crew member performance behavior observations, takes corrective action where necessary, and communicates these findings to the GMProactively assists the GM in other operations excellence tasks, as assignedIS THIS YOU?Is a positive and energetic self-starter, with a passion for leadershipHigh School diplomaBasic business math and accounting skills and strong analytical, decision-making skills2-4 years of operations management experience in the QSR, Fast-Casual, Casual Dining or Retail environmentProven skills in employee and guest satisfaction; financial performanceBasic computer literacy and data analytics knowledgeDemonstrated track record in the manager selection, coaching and developmentGood oral/written communication skills with exceptional team building experience
