We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Capital Markets Financial Planning & Analysis team in Chicago, IL.The Capital Markets segment comprises our Capital Markets business (including Investment Sales, Debt/Equity Advisory, and Loan Servicing) and our Value & Risk Advisory business. Our Financial Analyst is a collaborative team member supporting core business analysis and metrics for the Capital Markets segment in the Americas. What this job involves:Complete and support regular and ad-hoc reporting including informal and formal internal and documents, reports, graphs, charts and presentations.Support team's efforts to develop efficient reporting strategies including automation and simplification of reporting processes while preserving data integrityOrganize and maintain team data collection, reporting and communication.Support cost-savings and process improvement initiativesParticipate in the development and distribution of best practices, process documentation, and user support materials for reporting.Monthly & quarterly report generationRun day-to-day reporting and forecasting activitiesMaintain and enhance reportingIdentify tactical and strategic opportunities, gaps and financial risksDetailed forecast analysis including Actual versus Budget and Actual versus Forecast variance analysis.Annual Budget planning preparation and developmentAssist leaders in researching and identifying budget corrections and work with others to implement changeForecast accuracy reportingAny and all other duties and tasks assigned.Special projects and other functions as required by manager
