Role Description:
As the Senior Accountant you will assist in a wide range of accounting duties supporting three business units including BBQGuys, Blaze Grills, and Pacific Coast Manufacturing. The position requires great attention to detail and someone who can adapt from one assignment to the next. The Senior Accountant must have the skill set to be able to perform their job duties with limited supervision.
What You'll Do:
Key Responsibilities:Prepare and post journal entries.Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations per company policy.Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.Establish, communicate, and track month-end and year-end closing calendars.Analyze and document monthly financial statement variances and lead variance review meetings.Complete inter/intra company reconciliations including the resolution of variances.Assist with special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as needed.Build and develop relationships with key stakeholders across the company.Audit coordinator.Perform other duties as required or assigned.What You'll Have:

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree in accounting requiredFive plus years of accounting experience, including month-end close, accruals, prepaid expenses and inventory accounting.Demonstratable experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close procedures.Strong Excel skills is a must.Experience with NetSuite software preferred.Physical Demands:
