Job Description:Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.Determines and may develop test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams.Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems.May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing.Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.Execute shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution tasks for materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.Unpack received goods and meticulously verify them against purchase orders or invoices.Maintain accurate records of received goods, including rejecting unsatisfactory items when necessary.Safely operate various material handling devices, including forklifts (experience preferred).
Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge:
Experienced with bar coding and automation tools desired.Familiar with business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Experience with HCM (e.g., Workday) or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.Experience with reading mechanical drawingsFamiliarity with article 1 inspections and testingExperience with Hand tools and calibration toolsExperience with mechanical assemblies
Typical Education and Experience:
High School Degree or equivalent 2 - 3 years of related experience.
