Job Description
Reporting to the Vice President of Global Analytics & Commercial Operations, Kite’s Executive Director of Global Strategic Insights & Analytics acts as a strategic thought partner and advisor to senior stakeholders. Such stakeholders include the regional commercial heads, and leadership of Global Marketing, Corporate Strategy, Finance, Business Development, Global Portfolio & Pipeline Strategy, and Supply Chain. Leveraging strategic acumen, the Executive Director will set and drive the priorities to advance a data first approach to integrated insights and strategic planning for international markets including Europe, Japan, and LATAM. As a strategic analytical leader, you will help frame key business questions and connect the dots across insights and data to provide opportunity and performance analysis with actionable insights to impact Commercial strategy and implementation for inline and pipeline products. This role guides and supports a team of insights and analytics professionals accountable for market research, forecasting, analytics, and global reporting. You will be responsible for creating an environment where team members are highly motivated and engaged, professional development and growth is prioritized, and cross-functional collaboration thrives. A demonstrated ability to influence without authority and deep collaboration skills are critical for impactful results.
Responsibilities of the Executive Director of Global Strategic Insights & Analytics includes:
Insights, Analytics, and Operations
Lead team to develop and deliver strategic insights and data inspired recommendations to support business strategy and execution.
Lead key global commercial processes, including long-range planning, Quarterly and Monthly Business Reviews, global analytics and reporting, global Commercial demand planning, regional market insights and forecasting for all ex-US regions, and pipeline opportunity analysis.
Collaborate effectively across multiple stakeholder groups including sales, marketing, market access, customer experience, finance, and corporate strategy to define and implement a comprehensive integrated insights plan and support critical business planning processes.
Work with other commercial functions to define KPIs and ensure methods are in place to measure and report on them on a regular basis to assess performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Serve as single point of contact to key Commercial leaders on insights, analytics, and forecasting including the GM of International, GM of ACE (Europe, Canada, Australia), and Vice President of Global Commercial Strategy, Value, and Access.
Partner with finance to support quarterly earnings and investor relations processes.
Seek opportunities to streamline and improve business operations and technical capabilities of the organization while identifying opportunities to innovate to strengthen performance.
Ability to travel 20% of the time, including internationally, is required.

Basic Qualifications:
PhD degree with 12+ years of sales and/or marketing experience
OR
MA / MS degree with 14+ years of sales and/or marketing experience
OR
BS / BA degree with 16+ years of sales and/or marketing experience
OR
Associate degree with 18+ years of sales and/or marketing experience
OR
High School Diploma / GED with 20+ years of sales and/or marketing experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in oncology and/or rare diseases.
Knowledge of market research and metrics approaches in Europe, Asia, and LATAM.
Prior management consulting experience in life sciences highly preferred.
Excellent leadership experience with demonstrated ability to lead without authority and collabo-rate cross-functionally.
Thorough understanding of pharmaceutical sales and marketing practices, product lifecycle management, and regulatory environment.
Demonstrated ability to cultivate large cross-functional initiatives and guide laterally and vertically.
Ability to manage multiple priorities based on changing business needs, as well as ability to work in a team-based, exciting environment.
Thorough organizational, planning, communication, and project management skills.
Excellent understanding of primary qualitative and quantitative market research techniques and their optimal use in business decisions.
Creative and thoughtful problem solving skills
Persuasive written and verbal communication skills, ability to lead, guide, resolve conflict, and cultivate consensus among diverse cross-functional stakeholders.

The salary range for this position is: $268,430.00 - $347,380.00. Kite considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package. Benefits include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans*.
