MercyOne Iowa Heart Center is seeking a BC/BE General Cardiologist with a passion for teaching to join its well-established practice in the Des Moines metro area. We offer a 3-year income guarantee with a

first-year salary of $525,000,

$550,000 year two, and $575,000 year three

, and a $150,000 recruitment incentive.

J-1 and H1B candidates are encouraged to apply.

General Cardiology call (1 in 20 nights)

Academic appointment (Cardiology Fellowship, Internal Medicine Residency, Medical Students)

Inpatient and Outpatient support from Advance Practice Providers

MercyOne Iowa Heart Center

was founded in 1970 and is one of the largest cardiovascular practices in the US. With 52 Physicians, services are offered in General Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Advanced Heart Failure, Cardiovascular Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Preventative Cardiology and Adult Congenital Heart Disease. Iowa Heart Center has an accredited Cardiology Fellowship program, advanced imaging including cardiac MRI and cardiac CT, and a destination LVAD program. Iowa Heart Center has 8 primary office locations and attends 28 outreach facilities spanning much of the state of Iowa. We are an active clinic research department, Participate in all the major STS registries, and perform more than 10,000 cardiac interventions a year.
