Description Dispenses and compounds prescribed medications, drugs, and other pharmaceuticals for patient care, according to professional standards and State and Federal legal requirements. Provides expertise in drug therapy and serves as a resource to departmental personnel and specialty services. May conduct drug use evaluations and participates in research projects relating to hospital pharmaceutical practices. May function in a lead capacity. Qualifications B.A. or B.S. degree required. Current Massachusetts Pharmacy license. Pharm D required Hospital pharmacy experience required.
