The Architectural Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and supervising a development project from inception through construction completion.
This involves preparing conceptual site plans and building plans, as well as producing Construction Documents and coordinating both in-house and third-party design and engineering groups in the preparation and delivery of CDs.RequirementsEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
(Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.)Manage Multiple ProjectsPreparation of Drawings for various levels of Design as requiredLead Weekly Design Calls for each projectCollaborate with Development and Construction to coordinate project schedules deliverablesPrepare and Communicate Project ObjectivesQAQC Drawing ReviewContribute to and Maintain Design StandardsKnowledge and qualifications required to perform the essential responsibilities of the position:Degree in Architecture or a similar field8 years min experienceExperience in Multi-Family Residential Projects, preferably with LIHTCIn Depth Knowledge of Fair Housing and other Accessibility RequirementsAutoCAD, Sketchup and/or REVIT abilitiesAbilities:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to collaborate with a team of professionals across various disciplines.Professional and positive interaction with subordinates, peers, and supervisors.Maintain a positive attitude and cooperative working relationship with all employees.Ability to recognize and manage priorities.Demonstrate good judgement in reporting and solving issues.Exhibit a “Can Do” Attitude.Function independently with minimal supervision while demonstrating good planning skills.Ability to multi-task effectively.Show initiative in taking on additional responsibilities as schedule allows.KCG Values:Accountability - We don’t let others let us fail.Collaboration - We support each other across departments.Entrepreneurship - We work with an ownership mindset; own the work, the problem and the solution.Commitment - We create dynamic communities and foster long-term relationships.Transparency - We act responsibly and communicate authentically.Physical Demands/ Work Environment:The duties of this position are usually performed in an outdoor setting.
