MissionEdAdvance is one of Connecticut's six Regional Educational Service Centers (RESCs). Our mission as the RESC in western Connecticut to is to promote the success of area school districts and their communities. EdAdvance is also a partner in the RESC Alliance and works collaboratively with the other RESC groups to support state-wide initiatives. Job Description : EdAdvance is seeking a Physical Therapist for the Birth to Three Department. The qualified candidate will be professional, organized, and able to work independently.

Major Responsibilities:

Home visitation with infants, toddlers, and their familiesAssist families with the implementation of strategies to enhance the development of their childDevelop IFSP (Individualized Family Service Plan) with familiesProvide service coordination to familiesAssist child with the transition to preschool programmingWork in trans-disciplinary team of Early Childhood professionalsOther duties as may be assignedRegular and consistent attendance is considered an essential function of this position

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including ExcelAbility to develop effective relationshipsExcellent interpersonal skillsQualifications/Requirements:

CT DPH Licensed/Certified Physical TherapistExperience with infants, toddlers, and familiesService Coordination training (or willingness to obtain)Excellent organizational skills and computer literacyPhysical Requirements:

Frequent standing, bending, kneeling and therapeutic holding as requiredMust be able to perform essential functions with or without accommodationsTravel:

Travel required within Litchfield County. Must have reliable transportation, have a driver's license, and car insurance.
