From Office T.I.s to Retail, Restaurants to Medical facilities, we cover a wide range of electrical installations. This role requires strong leadership skills along with extensive knowledge and experience in the installation and maintenance of a complete electrical system. There is a strong emphasis on code compliance and comprehension. At Degryse Electric, we prioritize your professional development and satisfaction as essential elements of our company's success.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Team Leadership: Manage and supervise a crew of up to 10 workers, ensuring efficient workflow and quality installations.Project Management: Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and electrical code specifications for equipment layouts, implementing the National Electric Code in all phases of electrical construction.Safety Compliance: Conduct and coordinate safety meetings, maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety standards, and ensure all safety protocols are followed on-site.Task Delegation: Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring timely completion of project milestones.Client Communication: Act as the primary liaison with site superintendents, clients, and other construction professionals, maintaining professionalism and strong client relations.Mentorship: Supervise and mentor apprentices, promoting skill development and adherence to industry standards.Inventory Management: Oversee equipment and material inventory, ensuring availability and readiness for all projects.Inspections & Closeouts: Perform thorough inspections post-project to ensure cleanliness, order, and proper installation. Complete all required closeout paperwork.Emergency Response: Handle emergency service calls and manage administrative tasks such as work logs and client updates.Installation Expertise: Perform installation of panels, switch gears, outlets, lighting systems, lighting control work, power for mechanical equipment, from rough-in to finish work.The ideal candidate should possess:Licensing: Must be a California State Certified General Electrician.Experience: Proven experience as an Electrical Foreman or in a similar leadership role in electrical projects.
