Our
Irvine, CA
office is looking for a
Project Civil Engineer
to join our team. You will be able to leverage your current skillset and expand your technical and leadership talents. You will have the opportunity to teach others and be mentored by senior engineers. You will lead elements of technical and production work for site development,
water treatment, wastewater treatment, pumping and storage systems, pipelines, roadways, trail and pedestrian facilities, and many other diverse types of work . You will have the opportunity to be involved with business development and client relationship management, planning, design, and construction of a diverse array of projects both locally and across GHD.
You will be able to focus your technical and leadership emphasis as well as your career pathway based on your interests and your experience.

Specific responsibilities will depend on your qualifications and experience and can include:Completing studies, designs, and supporting construction by working closely with senior project engineers, project managers, and clientsPerforming design calculations, alternative analyses, and economic evaluationsCapturing and analyzing data and making recommendationsDeveloping water, wastewater system, utility, roadway and other infrastructure designsCompleting site development designs including grading, drainage, stormwater, piping, and surface improvementsCollaborating with architects, engineers, planners, and scientistsLeading meetings and workshops, including project progress meetings, pre-bid and pre-construction, and public meetingsMaintaining productive communication with project team membersManaging project resources and monitoring scope, schedule, budget, and qualityInterfacing with clients, regulators, funders, and the publicLeading projects and project teamsAssisting with business developmentFor success in this position, your skills and qualifications will include the following:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering8+ years
experience of professional experience is requiredFundamentals of Engineer (FE) Certification required; California Civil Engineering (PE) preferredStrong communication skills and ability to work within a team and independentlyFocus on client service and qualityAbility to think proactively and take ownership of your work and solve problems creativelyStrong desire for building your career and helping to build the careers of othersInterest in taking on new responsibilities and learning new technical skills

Salary Range: $106,680 - $ 160,020 based on experience.
