Our Mid-Continent Engineering Design Organization (EDO) is looking for an

Entry-Level

Civil Engineer

to provide design support for projects in the industrial, municipal and environmental markets. As a Civil Engineer, you will work on the designs, calculations and modelling in preparation of specification and drawing packages for construction of water distribution, sewer collection, pumping station, roadways, stormwater, and all aspects of a linear focused design.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:Assisting Engineers by performing the routine aspects for engineering assignmentsPerforming design calculationsPreparing and editing designs recommended by Project EngineersPreparing portions of project documents including drawings and specificationsResearching code and regulatory requirementsResearching design options, component specifications and document findings for Project Engineers and Job ManagerInvolvement in Construction including site inspections, review of shop drawings, and responding to contractor's questions; as needed, prepare alternate designs to resolve construction challengesPerforming analysis and design retrofit of new and existing facilitiesWhat you will bring to the team:

Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Environmental Engineering preferredNo more than 2 years of experienceEngineer in Training Certification and applicable internship experience preferredWorking knowledge of AutoCADKnowledge of modeling and design software (i.e. REVIT, PCSWMM, etc.) as applicableInvolvement in professional organization preferred
