Process Control Manager

The Judge Group is currently seeking a Process Control Manager for a large commercial / industrial component manufacturing firm in the West Covina, CA area. The right candidate will have A Mechanical Engineering or Material Science degree and experience in a Front-end castings environment.COMPENSATION: 135k to 155k (A small relocation stipend will be provided for the right candidate if necessary)PREFER TO HAVE: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Materials, Chemical, Mechanical)MUST HAVE: AS9102 experienceMUST HAVE: 5+years experience in Investment casting (wax, investing, and/or foundry)MUST HAVE: Some Supervisory experienceRESPONSIBILITIES:-Develop best practices in the front end (wax through casting) area-Implement process control strategies (Reduce Variation, Reduce Cost, And Improve Throughput)-Perform SPC testing-Use statistical tools Supervise a team-Oversee front end operations from raw material to shell removal-Document work procedures and processes-Drive and record process changes-Improve wax injection press capabilities-Drive 6S-Drive process control improvementREQUIREMENTS:-Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Materials, Chemical, Mechanical)-5+years experience in Investment casting (wax, investing, and/or foundry)-Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing Principles
