A professional with extensive knowledge to oversee all plant operations and make crucial decisions for the company. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with the responsibility for all financial aspects of plant operations and have a familiarity with the third-party logistics and/or the automotive industry.POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:Reports directly to the Director of OperationsStrong Project Management Experience is RequiredStrong leadership skills managing salaried and hourly employeesLeads Direction among functional Departments (Manufacturing/Operations, Engineering, Safety, Quality), conducting daily and weekly meetings with direct reportsMaintains and improves employee morale by facilitating team building and communication within the departmentCommunicates with Corporate ResourcesDirects, coordinates, and assigns work activities to all employees under Supervision in facility; Monitors, reviews and evaluates work product, methods, and procedures oStrong understanding of Lean Principles and driving Continuous ImprovementEstablishes and maintains effective KPI's, monitors performance and initiates improvement opportunitiesProduces productivity reports and turns data into business cases to make fact-based decisionsDevelops and Manages Operations budgets to ensure compliance with the Company and the CustomerCommunicates with Customers to handle any escalated partner service issues or complaintsExceeds Client-Customer expectationsPromotes and maintains a safe working environmentEnforces company policies/procedures and corresponding work instructionsPOSITION REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Materials Management and/or Engineering is Required10+ Years' Automotive, Third-Party Logistics, or Heavy Industrial/Manufacturing experience is Required7+ Years' Operations/Leadership Management experience within Automotive, Third-Party Logistics, or Heavy Industrial/Manufacturing experience is RequiredStrong Customer Interfacing SkillsERP/WMS proficiency - SAP RequiredSafety, Labor Relations, and Worker's CompensationStrong Experience within Continuous Improvement and Lean Principles:Problem-solving using Root Cause Analysis Time Studies and Value Stream MappingDemonstrated experience performing Layered AuditsStrong Logistics/Supply Chain background to include proficiency in Third Party VAA Services including Part Sequencing, JIT, Value-Added, Sub-Assembly, Kitting, Repack, Deconsolidation, and Bulk and Small Lot MeteringCLI is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
