As one of the fastest-growing warehousing and logistics companies in North America, we’re looking for an experienced PLANT SUPERINTENDENT.
Lead and direct the work of others.Ensure that orders arrive and are dispatched on time to the appropriate destinations and in the most efficient manner.Use experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.Diagnose problems, replace/repair parts, test, and make adjustments.Monitor employees' work for issues/potential issues and take the appropriate actions to prevent/correct/educate.Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent combination of education and experience.The ability to work between first and second shifts as needed.Minimum of 6 years of experience in material logistics and manufacturing. Automotive O.E.M. customer Tier 1 supplierJ.I.T. operations background and/or manufacturing experience in the Agricultural/Industrial industries.Strong skills in managing salaried and hourly employees and processes.Strong customer interfacing skills.Prior Quality experience.Understanding of LEAN manufacturing and continuous improvement.Must be process and data-driven.Knowledge of materials systems as SAP experience is highly desirable.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
