Large Enterprise Sales Manager
who will hire, train, coach and develop a team of driven individuals to become world-class business development professionals. If you have proven success in building and leading a business development team to achieve weekly, monthly and quarterly revenue and bookings goals, a passion for Smartsheet, and a commitment to excellence, this is the role for you.
This position will report to the Director of Enterprise Sales Representatives and will be based in our Bellevue, WA office.
Responsibilities:
Hire, coach, train and develop a team of Large Enterprise Sales Representatives to master skills including, but not limited to, lead engagement, Smartsheet value proposition, outbound prospecting, pipeline generation, running full sales cycles and closing business.
Execute on your reps aligned territories quarterly sales quotas
Partner with Regional Directors to ensure execution on territory, account strategy, and quota goals are being met.
Provide leadership to the team in operationalizing account-based pipeline development plans, including process definition, key metrics and use of tools.
Partner with team members in the full deal cycle to drive closure, including supporting customer calls, working with procurement, and internal teams to remove deal friction and secure business.
Develop, implement and track a set of core metrics/analytics to analyze team performance and ensure sales consistency and predictability.
Review inbound lead volumes, activity metrics, conversions and pipeline build.
Provide account-intelligence and perspective on strategy for the accounts.
Work closely with cross functional teams for deal closure, process improvement, account planning, and to build strong internal relationships to maximize territory revenue.
Deliver accurate monthly and quarterly forecasts for your team
Create a performance-based team culture that inspires through a shared vision and motivates with creative incentives.
Requirements:
1-2+ years of management experience with a proven track record of quota over achievement, hiring, retaining and developing individuals.
5+ years of technology sales experience with a demonstrated record of quota achievement.
Experience working in and building technology oriented sales teams.
Effective use of core sales tools: Salesforce or equivalent CRM, LinkedIn, Tableau, Zoominfo, Chorus or equivalent, Outreach or equivalent.
Data-driven - constantly finding ways to improve productivity, efficiency, and contribution to the business through analysis and metrics.
A team player - inspiring others and building highly motivated and successful sales team.
Ability to understand customer pain points and requirements, and correlate them to Smartsheet value.
Strong and professional communication skills - written, verbal, presentation.
Drive, grit, team-oriented: strong desire to compete and win.
Proven track record of quota achievement (as individual or manager) and building and managing KPIs for a sales organization.
Bachelors (BA/BS) degree preferred.

Actual compensation is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, level of professional, educational experience, skills, and specific candidate location.
