Material Coordinator & MRB (Material Review Board)

Rapiscan Systems,Inc. designs, manufactures and markets security and inspection systems worldwide. Our products range from hand held metal detectors to Real Time Tomography used to inspect baggage, cargo, people, vehicles and other objects for people, weapons, explosives, drugs, money, and other contraband. Rapiscan Systems security and inspection devices can be found in a wide range of locations such as, airports, border crossings, railway stations, seaports and terminals, government and military installations and nuclear facilities.
We are looking for a MRB & Material Coordinator to join our team. This individual will process equipment returns from Field Service and Production and reporting on such processes. They will assist with in process inspections and factory acceptance tests on commercial and aerospace contracts and handle in process and line auditing functions.Responsibilities:Manage MRB area and store non-conformance material.Compile SMRs for production floor.Material Review Board support as MRB Lead. Facilitate daily MRB meetings and continuously follow up with departments to ensure dispositioned parts are getting RTVd, reworks, or scrapped out in a timely manner.Understand ERP System (Microsoft Analytics D365) to generate reports for management.Kit material into subassemblies for production or service needs.Process material consumption or outputs as systems are completed.Issue material to production and or return material to warehouse.Uphold the companys core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork.Demonstrate behavior consistent with the companys Code of Ethics and Conduct.It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem.Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.Qualifications:
High school degree or equivalent required.2+ years of relevant experience desired. Previous inspection experience with mechanical assemblies highly desired.
