MAU is hiring a Plant Manager for our client in Penn Yan, NY. As a Plant Manager, you will lead and optimize the entire facility's operations, driving a culture of operational excellence. You will strategically conduct regular inspections to identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring a safe and efficient manufacturing environment that aligns with our long-term business objectives. This is a direct-hire opportunity. Benefits Package $130,000 - $170,000 per year Health, dental, and vision insurance 401k + matching Sick leave Paid vacation Paid holidays Opportunity for advancement Eligible for annual bonus opportunity Required Education and Experience Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline, and 10+ years of chemicals or materials industries experience in manufacturing leadership positions within a plant environment or 15+ years of chemicals or materials industries experience in a manufacturing leadership position P&L responsibility experience Experience in chemicals or materials industries General Requirements Dedicated leader committed to advancing safety excellence Demonstrated success in developing and executing manufacturing strategies and optimizing operations to achieve cost reduction and productivity gains while operating in a demanding customer environment Knowledge of computers, inventory systems, quality systems, OSHA & EPA requirements, and ERP Preferred Requirements Lean Six Sigma Certification Experience in sites that are ISO 9000/NSF certified Essential Functions Link established processes and leadership execution in the areas of Safety, Health, and Environmental in keeping with the company's proud legacy of attention to safety, the environment, and the communities in which it exists Develop manufacturing operating plans following company policies, goals, and objectives Optimize capital expenditures to sustain operations, drive safety and value, and deliver growth products Deliver operational excellence through optimizing capacities, total cost-effectiveness, and value to the customer base Ensure operation plans achieve targeted cost and efficiency results that maximize value for the business unit Promote structured continuous improvement utilizing methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma Execute plans for quality and process excellence that ensure consistent quality assurance and process excellence procedures, controls, and feedback Ensure adequate people development plans and capable succession plans are in place Promote employee engagement initiatives to increase employee satisfaction Design, develop, and implement production systems to meet customer requirements Manage productivity and efficiencies using metrics and continuous improvement protocol Perform other tasks as required
