summary ResourceMFG has partnered with the largest PVC extrusions manufacturing company in North America that is looking for a Production Lead to their growing team! This position is a Temp-To-Hire Opportunity! Schedule: Shift A 7am-7pm / Shift B 7pm-7am (switches every 3 months) You will work 5 days on, 5 days off, 2 days on, 2 days off -repeat. Total hours of 80.5 hours, with 17.5 hours of overtime. Additional benefits information can be found here:Production Lead Responsibilities: Responsible to ensure overall production is functioning at peak efficiency. Approve results of impact test performed each shift, zero substandard products. To control all processes within production. Approve material runs for packaging during and at completion of run. Confirm and approve set-up and fine-tuning. Authorize and assist machine start-up, shut down, die changes. Train new employees under guidance of the Technical Supervisor and the Plant Manager. Responsible for the overall wellbeing and operation of the plant: materials, cradles, racks, and finished products (stored and placed properly), tools, housekeeping etc. Ensure that the health and safety of employees are not in danger at any time. Production Lead Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent qualification required. Five years' experience in manufacturing and extrusion process. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Possesses good communication, report writing ability, and able to instruct and teach effectively. Ability to work with minimum supervision, resourceful and a positive attitude. required-skills:
