Job Description

The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis reports to the VP of Finance in a strategic role in the financial management and data analysis of the Company.

This role:

Leads the preparation, consolidation, and review of all consolidated financial plans and forecasts to assist the executive management team with resource allocation and strategic decisions.Leads the functions and activities associated with providing financial planning, analysis, measurement, and decision support to the human resources, legal, safety, and information technology leadership.Drives development and implementation of enterprise-wide strategic financial and business intelligence systems and processes, and together with the information technology team, oversees the structure, storage, access, and processing of all financial and related analytic data used for the company's management reporting and financial analysis.Responsible for driving the long-term strategic planning of the organizationAssists in preparation of executive and board of director level periodic reporting, including monthly and quarterly operating reviews.Assists in the preparation of quarterly financial statements including drafting MD&A section and preparing expected Q&A discussion support for quarterly earnings callsJob Description:

Responsible for the preparation, review, and on-going monitoring of budgets, forecasts, strategic plans, and other financial data to assist management with current and long-range planning.Sets the standards for sharing best practices across all FP&A teams and is responsible for all financial control, analysis, and support of corporate FP&A.Leads the work to align budget and strategic plans in support of objectives.Leads the company's capital expenditures planning and performance tracking, including oversight of capital expenditure project business case development to ensure funds are allocated to highest ROI investments.Serves as a key resource to executive management in evaluating financial issues and providing the necessary solutions and recommendations; provides analytical support to the CEO, CFO, VP Finance, and/or board of directors as required.Develops methodologies for the design and implementation of strategic analyses.Manages a team of financial analysts.Assists in writing complex business rules to provide additional reporting capabilities.Reviews financial data and conducts financial analysis as needed.Performs ad hoc reporting and analysis as required by CEO, CFO, VP Finance, and other company leaders.Implements best practices, drives continuous improvement, in key processes and ensures compliance with TruGreen's business policiesCompetencies:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Economics, or MathematicsMBA, CPA, and/or other professional qualification preferred7-10 years of combined accounting, financial planning and analysis, and financial operations2+ years of supervisory management experienceExperience with Anaplan or similar financial planning and budgeting or business intelligence applicationsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Working knowledge of finance and accounting processes and principlesKnowledge of financial statement analysis, income statement, balance sheet, and cash flowFinancial modeling knowledge and skills to accurately model the financial aspects and outcomes of business issues using spreadsheets and/or other applicable toolsTransforming data and information into key, actionable insights to better diagnose and forecast issues, identify solutions and opportunities, and drive informed, sound business decisions.Intellectual curiosityProject and change management skillsExceptional analytical, interpersonal, organizational, financial and problem-solving skillsPhysical Demands & Working Conditions:

Pay Ranges$136,815.00 - $228,024.00

This range is based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate's skills, experience, and geographic location, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive experience. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. In addition to monetary compensation, we offer benefits, including Medical/Dental/Vision insurance and Company-matching 401(k) in addition to other programs and perks.
