Premium Audit Manager , you'll manage field premium audit operations for the assigned Division to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of premium audits to the Operations unit for review and processing. You'll oversee the production, quality, and workflow of the Field Premium Auditors, primarily conducting Field Premium Auditor work. You'll also manage vendor work assignments for Field Premium Auditor type audits. We'll rely on you to handle premium audit disputes for Field Audit staff and work with Underwriters, Agents, and Insureds to resolve disputes in addition to being a resource to answer premium audit related questions, before and after policy issuance. We'll trust you to understand the business goals and the factors that affect its success in order to design an open-ended unit which is ripe for expansion to handle premium audit work from additional W. R. Berkley operating units.What you can expect:Internal mobility opportunities be a key person in our succession planVisibility to senior leaders and partnership with cross functional teamsCulture of celebrating diversity, innovation, teamwork, supportive colleagues and leaders willing to invest in talentOpportunity to lead changeBenefits competitive salary, paid time off, comprehensive wellness benefits and programs, profit sharing, 401k, paternity leave, employee stock purchase plan, tuition assistance and professional continuing educationWe'll count on you to:Be responsible for the accurate and timely submissions of Field Premium Auditors reports to Operations for processing and Final Audit Statement issuance.Communicate and collaborate regularly with various operating unit leaders as well as leaders at Berkley Premium Audit Services.Analyze data to draw conclusions and determine gaps when reviewing team performance as well as group trends driven during audit completion including but not limited to dispute trends, common misclassifications, unproductive rate, etc.Ensure that operating unit companys guidelines, industry guidelines, laws, regulatory requirements for all related jurisdictions are appropriately applied to all Field Premium Audits; ensure team performance falls within required metrics set forth by stateContribute to the Divisions success by developing field auditors goals and competencies as well as designing metrics, measuring results, rewarding achievements and taking corrective action, as necessary.Develop and retain staff through managing responsibly and creating a positive work environment to include coaching, ongoing and constructive feedback, performance and salary reviews.Work with BPAS senior leadership teams to conduct annual budget review and planning while also reviewing budget variance throughout the year; manage vendors to assure quality, time service, production, and audit cost.Keep abreast of industry developments which have a direct impact on premium audit operations and disseminate this information to the appropriate staff accordingly.Work with Berkley's Technology Services team to innovate, design, develop, and deploy software to support all Audit operations.Other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:What you need to have:Bachelors degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university2+ years of management/supervisory experience5+ years of direct field experience within the premium audit function; or equivalent combination of education and experienceWorkers Compensation Premium AuditsDemonstrate a thorough understanding of state specific and test audit guidelines and requirements while ensuring team performance falls within required metrics set forth by stateValid Driver's LicenseAbility to travel (i.e. once a quarter for leadership meetings and training)What makes you stand out:CIPA, APA, and/or CPCU designationsExcellent communication skills - verbal and written
