Claims Adjuster with the ability to communicate compassionately and effectively to resolve low exposure insurance claims. This person will also provide outstanding customer service and have the ability to handle a large volume of claims.
Responsibilities
Analyze, review, and interpret policies to assess coverage and liabilityHandle simple to moderate complexity claims, including single vehicle losses to glass claimsEstablish and maintain proper loss and expense reserves on their claimsDetermine what investigation is necessary on more complicated claims to bring a claim to an equitable conclusion for all parties involvedResponsible for controlling the work done by the independent adjuster/appraiserDocument, verify and review damagesMake timely payments to insureds, claimants and/or shopsRequirements
Recommended for a four-year degree or equivalent experience1+ years' experience handling claims, including understanding and interpreting auto policiesKnowledge of and adherence to the state laws and regulations governing the handling of auto liability claimsBasic understanding of insurance, claims, mathematics, construction, auto physical damageState adjuster's license where domiciledNon-resident adjuster's license where required in the states where we do businessExceptional organization skills while moving from task to task in a high pace environmentCompensation and BenefitsBenefits

$54,000 - $91,800/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
