What role will you play?
Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibilityIn this role, you will have responsibilities in all phases of securities valuation across the firm's strategies and products, encompassing mutual funds, institutional accounts, other registered vehicles, and engagement with management, with primary focus in the US region, with coordination and collaboration across other regional teams, as appropriate (e.g., Australia and EMEA). You will help develop new tools and processes with the goal of increasing efficiencies and automation, and you will assist in due diligence oversight of pricing vendors and the funds' custodian with respect to its valuation functions. Additionally, you will evaluate data sources and vendor pricing for Fixed Income, Leveraged Credit and Equities - where the objective is to assess the quality, reliability, and overall performance of valuation sources at reflecting fair value as part of valuation methodologies.
What you offer
Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibility10-15 years' experience in the financial services industry and valuation process and proven track record of leading teams to accomplish complex goalsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Financial Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. MBA or Master of Science in Finance preferredExperience with pricing vendors, various financial data providers, and experience in monitoring pricing standards and procedures consistent with current regulatory requirements and guidanceDemonstrable experience with mutual funds and Net Asset Value calculations and general operational understanding of valuing securities and familiarity with the Investment Company Act of 1940 and rules promulgated thereunder, including Rule 2a-5, is essential for the roleSolid grasp of trading, valuations and round/odd lot determinations including back-testing models and fixed income securities and complex instrumentsProfessional certification such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or other relevant certifications is a plus.We love hearing from anyone inspired to build a better future with us, if you're excited about the role or working at Macquarie we encourage you to apply.
