Position Summary:
Assists in planning, organizing, developing, delivering, and implementing Physical Therapy (PT) Services in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, and as may be directed by the supervising licensed Physical Therapist, Director of Rehabilitation, or Administrator.
Qualifications :Active/current Physical Therapy Assistant LicenseActive/current required certificationsOutstanding communication (verbal and written) skillsAbility to remain calm and professional in all work-related situationsStrong organizational skills, ability to multitaskConfidentiality required!Responsibilities :
Follows treatment interventions and programs for residents in accordance with resident plan of care and under the direction of the supervising Physical Therapist or Rehab DirectorAssists in developing and maintaining Physical Therapy standardsObserves and reports on resident's responses to treatmentsProperly demonstrates the implementation of therapeutic interventions encouraging participation and reporting to supervising therapist on any changes in conditionMeets all physical requirements of the position (Pick up/put away equipment such as: weights, barbells, medicine balls, etc. transport patients to and from therapy areas, assists with all therapy activities as needed)Benefits :
