Position Summary:
Provides therapy and rehabilitation services by evaluating patient abilities and creating individualized treatment plans with appropriate therapeutic equipment and exercises in accordance with your education, training, current applicable federal, state, and local regulations, company policies and as may be directed by the Therapy Director or facility Administrator, to assure that the highest degree of quality care and results are delivered.

Current California Occupational Therapist (OT) Registration/State LicensureResponsibilities:
Reviewing patients' medical history, ask the patients questions, and observe them doing tasksEvaluating a patient's condition and needsDeveloping a treatment plan for patients, identifying specific goals and the types of activities that will be used to help the patient work toward those goalsHelp people with various disabilities perform different tasksDemonstrate exercises that can help relieve pain in people with chronic conditionsEvaluate a patient's home or workplace and, on the basis of the patient's health needs, identify potential improvementsEducate a patient's family and employer about how to accommodate and care for the patientRecommend special equipment and instruct patients on how to use that equipmentAssess and record patients' activities and progress for patient evaluations, for billing, and for reporting to physicians and other healthcare providers.Benefits:
