About the Role:
In this role, you willconduct internal audits and participates in special projects relating to a wide range of bank technology operations, regulatory compliance, risk management, and finance and accounting functions.You will perform risk assessments, audits, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) testing, and technical analyses to independently evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls that are designed to ensure the achievement of management's operating objectives, compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and reliability of financial statements and other reporting.You will lead or co-lead audits or special projects and provide coaching or training to less experienced staff assigned to those engagements.In addition, you may provide RiskMonitoring ofRisk Assessment of one area of the Audit Universe and recommend future assurance coverage of that area to the Audit Manager.
Lead regular audits or special projects; often assigned as a technical subject matter specialist on audits and special projects.
Complyand maintain audit work papers in conformity with departmental quality standards and guidelines promulgated by the Institute of Internal Auditors.
Execute assigned tasks in conformity with deadlines and budget expectations.
Keep the Audit Manager informed of progress, impediments, and the results of fieldwork. Produce status reports and other Internal Audit correspondence.
Lead/participatein discussions with audit clients/management regarding results of testingin order tovalidate facts and circumstances, establishing the basis for audit testing conclusions and/or reportable findings.
Identifyand/or assess potential for control enhancements or opportunities for management to improve the efficiency or effectiveness of operations.
Respond to information requests or requests for assistance from external auditors, regulatory examiners, and other bank departments.
Perform assigned SOX testing procedures; may lead certain SOX testing activities.
Demonstrate compliance with all bank regulations that apply to your position and keep up to date on regulation changes.
About
You:
Bachelor’s degree in business,economics, information technology, or related business or technical field or equivalent operational/technical experience.
4-7 yearsin internal or external audit, business operations or technology, or SOX; total years of experience may take into consideration other relevant technical, business, or academic experience, required.
CISA, CISSP, CGEIT, CAMS, FRM, CPA, CIA-or comparable audit, accounting, or risk management, or technical certification (or progress towards completion)
General familiarity with banking and financial services regulatory requirements, such as FDIC, FRB, CFPB, FINRA, etc.
Audit/risk management experience within Treasury, BSA/AML, or Commercial Lending highly desired.
Strong project management skills with the ability to coach others while delivering a high-quality result.
Proficient knowledge of accounting and finance, risk assessment, internal control, and auditing concepts/methods; proficient to advanced knowledge and skills in relevant technical discipline (e.g., information technology, quantitative/modeling, data analytics, other).
Strong written and verbal communications skills, willingness and ability to develop relationships with co-workers and audit clients, and effective time management skills.
Willing to learn, work as part of a team using remote collaboration tools, and comfortable sharing ideas with others.

We offer a competitive total rewards package including basewagesand comprehensive benefits. Thepayrange for this role is $85,000.00-$110,000.00, and the pay rate for theselected candidate isdependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The rolemay beeligible for performance-based incentive compensation and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
