How will you make an impact?

You will make an impact by collaborating with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance and vendors to identify and realize improvements in quality, delivery and price. Providing input to management regarding problems such as shortages, design changes, and backlogs. Assisting in developing and improving materials management procedures and continuously working toward developing an improved supplier base.

What will you do?

Provide support the purchasing and Logistics team.

Review documents, such as production schedules, work orders, RMA returns, shipment schedules, shortage reports, and materials requirements and priorities.

Requisition and maintain inventories of materials or supplies.

Working with suppliers and internal teams processing RMA's and scheduling weekly review meetings with all pertinent teams.

Working with the operation engineering team on quality returns and first article qualifications.

Expediting past due PO’s and expediting material needed to meet manufacturing schedules.

Maintaining accuracy of parts: Lead Time, Pricing, MOQ, Safety Stock, in MRP system.

Must demonstrate strong analytical skills to define problems, collect data, establish facts and get effective results.

Education

High school diploma plus 3+ years equivalent experience in purchasing and planning in a fast-paced semiconductor environment.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Preferred experience using ERP system (QAD)

Strong skills in MS office i.e. Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook.

Driven, results oriented, and motivated to work efficiently without direct supervision.

Strong organization skills with the ability to run and prioritize multiple tasks.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $20.23–$30.34.
