We are a multinational Retail Company located in Orange County, CA. We are
looking for a Senior Accountant with 4+ years of relevant accounting experience.

Responsibilities:
Perform full cycle accounting and ensure all transactions are accounted for accurately, timely, and in accordance with US GAAP for multiple subsidiaries.
Manage accounts payable process including approving invoices and weekly payment selections.
Complete month-end close process including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations and applicable supporting balance sheet schedules.
Perform balance sheet reconciliations; apply technical knowledge and judgment to ensure accuracy of accounts and timely resolution of reconciling items as required.
Responsible for weekly cash and cash related account reconciliations including foreign currency accounts.
Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting as well as monthly variance analysis.
Prepare monthly financial reporting packages including analytical reviews of monthly operating results and variance analysis.
Maintain adequate internal controls within the accounting processes to ensure well documented, accurate and timely financial reporting.
Assist with preparing and/or gathering support for annual external audit and tax filings
Work with finance team on a variety of ad-hoc projects, as needed.

Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Relevant experience in the consumer goods, apparel and/or manufacturing industries.
Experience with multinational companies and foreign currencies.
Advanced Excel skills, including data extraction and manipulation.
Exceptional attention to detail with an analytical and problem-solving mind-set.
Strong and effective written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in medium sized accounting system, NetSuite, or similar system strongly preferred.
Goal and deadline-oriented with the ability to prioritize, focus, and thrive in a fast paced. multitasking environment
Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or related.
