Position Title:
Director of Clinical Services
Summary of Essential Duties:
Candidate must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with CCS certification to provide clinical supervision.
The Director of Clinical Services is responsible for overseeing Crossroads' clinical interventions and services. With an emphasis on improving and sustaining staff competencies, s/he oversees the development and monitoring of clinical standards, practice protocols and standard operating procedures. S/he also partners closely with the CEO and COO to chart Crossroads' strategic response to changing demands. This position exercises leadership through influence and defining and directing processes and outcomes as well as having direct responsibility for Crossroads' Clinical Team.

Oversee the development and implementation of agency models of treatment and therapeutic milieus for staff and treatment home providersProvide professional consultation and supervision as necessary in individual, group and/or collegial settings congruent with licensing board requirements and professional development planConsult on critical incidents and crisis intervention activitiesAssist the Continuous Performance & Quality Improvement Committee and Program Directors with the development of relevant, meaningful program outcomes, helping them focus on results and positive dischargesIntroduce improvements, support innovation and best practices in clinical servicesSupport program productivity, in conjunction with directors and admissions managerOversee the prompt, effective delivery of psychiatric services (evaluations and medication monitoring)Ensure that clinical records are accurate, current, and meet standards and licensing regulationsQualifications:
Master's degree
in social work or a related field, with appropriate licensure and five years post master's experience clinical and supervisory with at-risk children, youth, and familiesOther requirements include, but are not limited to:
A trauma-sensitive/strengths-based approach to both youth and staffExcellent clinical assessment and intervention skillsAbility to train staff in clinical tasks (making complex concepts simple and clear)Excellent organizational, communication and critical thinking skillsProven ability to work with efficiency, flexibility, and good humorSuccess in roles requiring timely execution of tasks while managing multiple prioritiesSelf-starter with initiativeExperience with PerformCare
