In this role you'll assist management staff with the daily operations of the Accounts Receivable Business Unit, specifically supporting Public Utilities. You will perform in-depth reviews of assigned financial activities and serve as the subject matter expert for all financial items relating to Public Utilities. Apply today and join this dynamic team!
Provide in-depth financial reconciliation and research on behalf of the following internal customers:
Public Utilities
Perform complex technical accounting, financial statistical research ensuring compliance with Board Resolutions, Statutes, and Federal program requirements.
Prepare daily and monthly detailed financial reports, to reconcile financial systems.
Possess the ability to identify, interpret and implement changes because of new processes, legislative or regulatory requirements.
Assist and/or perform in other activities and interact with internal and external auditors as required.
Assist and support in a lead capacity by training and assisting staff in the use of the Utility software system, and various other software systems as required.
E-Work/Hybrid Work: Currently this position is eligible to e-work one day per week! After you complete your first six months, contingent on work requirements and other factors, you’ll be eligible for this fantastic benefit.
Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:15 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.
About You
To thrive in this role, you will need:
A Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics or other related field and a minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible professional experience.
A Master's degree in related field may be substituted for one year of the required experience.
Related professional experience or certifications may substitute for the required education.
About Everything Else
Starting Salary Range: $52,936.00 - $55,000.00 based on your experience
