Senior Accountant (Corporate Accounting - Equity Comp)
Our client is a growing publicly traded company looking to add an experienced
Senior Accountant
to join their growing team and organization. This position will assist with the full cycle general ledger accounting processes and help with consolidated financial reporting. As well as perform ad hoc financial analysis as needed. This position reports to the accounting manager and will work cross functionally with other accounting personnel. Responsibilities:Maintain and reconcile assigned general ledger accountsAnalyze and prepare routine financial reportingAssist in SEC reporting for consolidated entities (10k, 10q)Prepare accruals per GAAP regulationsAnalyze revenues and costs to prepare for POC reportsUtilize Microsoft Excel for preparing management reports using Pivot Table and V Lookup functionsPrepare bank reconciliations and assist with other treasury duties where neededAssist with the optimization and standardization of processesProvide support for annual auditPerform ad hoc analysis as needed by ControllerQualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related degree2+ years in a general accounting environment for publicly-traded corporation or large public accounting firm preferredExperience with multi-state or multi-national consolidations preferredProficiency with large accounting ERP and MS ExcelSolid understanding of GAAP and financial statement prepMust be detail oriented with good organizational skills and solid communication
