The Senior Staff Accountant plays a crucial role in the financial operations of the company. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage complex financial tasks. The ideal candidate will be a motivated individual with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts.Process accounts payable and receivable.Assist with budgeting and forecasting.Prepare and file tax returns.Ad hoc analysis and reporting as needed.Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.CPA certification preferred.Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting.Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and accuracy.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
