About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and organized Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including:Maintaining and updating accounting records and filesProcessing financial transactions and posting them to the general ledgerReconciling bank statements and accounts payable/receivableAssisting with month-end and year-end closing proceduresPreparing financial reports and supporting schedulesResearching and resolving accounting discrepanciesStaying up-to-date on accounting standards and best practicesQualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a staff accountant roleStrong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)Excellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team
