Meyer 3 Acute Inpatient Psychiatric Unit and Psychiatric Emergency Department
is a 22-bed adult psychiatric acute care inpatient unit for patients with a variety of psychiatric disorders, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and other severe mental illnesses, including addictions. Many of our patients come from this community; most are admitted through the psychiatry emergency department. You would also staff the psych ED and be oriented to that clinical setting after about a year of progressive leadership in the inpatient setting. Our patients with addictions are often discharged to recovery-focused programs for further addiction treatment, and general psychiatric patients are referred to community psychiatry settings for their aftercare. You would evaluate, assess, and treat this broad range of disorders, including leading therapeutic groups.What Awaits You

:Bachelors degree in Nursing requiredActive Maryland or Compact RN license is requiredBLS CPR certification requiredAt least 3 years of RN experience required,
