Stroke Quality Improvement Nurse , you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary health care team to optimize stroke patient outcomes. This position will service The Johns Hopkins Hospital East Baltimore Campus. In this role you will collect and enter data for Comprehensive Stroke Center performance measures into a stroke database (data management and neurology/stroke experience preferred.)Responsibilities include:Data analysis/abstraction
Data entry into the stroke database
Coordination of patient care
Participation in quality improvement projects
Participation in community outreach
Other duties as assigned

Who Should Apply
:Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited School of Nursing is requiredActive Maryland or Compact RN license is requiredBLS CPR certification required3 years of acute care RN experience; stroke and/or neurology experience preferredMust be well-organized and highly detail orientedResearch Nurse that manages databasesProficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
