Job Summary: The Manufacturing Production Scheduler is responsible for planning and coordinating production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products while optimizing resource utilization. This role involves collaborating with various departments to align production capabilities with demand forecasts and operational goals.Key Responsibilities:
Production Planning:
Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and manufacturing capacity.
Analyze demand forecasts and adjust production plans accordingly.
Resource Allocation:
Coordinate with production teams to ensure the availability of materials, labor, and equipment.
Identify and resolve potential scheduling conflicts to maintain workflow efficiency.
Monitoring and Reporting:
Track production progress and performance metrics, providing regular updates to management.
Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to enhance production efficiency.
Collaboration:
Work closely with procurement, quality control, and logistics teams to align production schedules with supply chain processes.
Facilitate communication between departments to ensure all stakeholders are informed of scheduling changes.
Continuous Improvement:
Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance scheduling practices and production efficiency.
Utilize software tools for scheduling and reporting, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in production scheduling or planning in a manufacturing environment.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions:
Primarily office-based with occasional visits to the manufacturing floor.
