We are seeking a Licensed Clinician for our Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT) Program. Responsibilities include: oversight and monitoring of High Risk Individuals who are on AOT orders; evaluation of referrals for AOT orders under Kendra's Law; linkage and coordination with Care Management and Clinical Services for high risk individuals released from Jail or Hospital Systems; coordination with Court systems for individuals on AOT orders. This position may also be responsible for completing behavioral health assessments for at-risk youth involved with probation and the court system, engaging in referrals/ linkages for youth, monitoring and follow-up, coordinating with other service providers and for providing consultation to probation regarding complex cases.

Typical work hours are Monday - Friday 8:30 - 4:30, 35 hour/week. The Licensed Clinician also participates as a part of our after-hours mobile crisis team, with occasional after hours paid on-call - 2 - 3 days per month. Candidates must have a current New York State license, provisional license, or limited permit as a Master of Social Work, Mental Health Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, Creative Arts Therapist, or Psychoanalyst; or possession of a current New York State Registered Professional Nurse license and two (2) years of supervised nursing experience in a mental health, behavioral health, or related disability program.

This is a civil service opportunity, open to residents of Niagara county and counties adjacent to Niagara (including Erie, Genesee, and Orleans). Civil service exam requirements are waived for all newly hired employees!
