DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Use standardized assessments including, but not limited to, fine motor, gross motor, and sensory processing, and other related assessments addressing cognitive, social/emotional, adaptive/self-help, communication and speech/language assessments, hearing screenings, and behaviorAdhere to mandated compliance timelines for conducting evaluations and writingUpdate file notes in electronic record in internal information management systems to ensure detailed documentation of contact, outreach, tasks completed related to the evaluation process, including but limited to, reminder calls about scheduled appointment, teacher-related calls and responses, and evaluation cancelationsNotify the appropriate staff member for No-Shows and reschedulesPerform other duties as assignedEDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy; Masters preferredRegistered by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT), and licensed by the state of Rhode IslandOne (1) year experience administering standardized assessment toolsDemonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a teamAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage and prioritize multiple, often competing, prioritiesDemonstrated strong attention to detailDemonstrated strong time management and organizational skillsDemonstrated excellent judgment with the ability to independently solve problems and make decisions with little or no need for direct supervisionDemonstrated ability to anticipate future needed changes or identify problem areas and take effective actionsMust be able to perform CPR using agency-trained protocolsMust possess excellent customer interaction, collaboration, presentation, and written and verbal communication skillsMust have current, valid driver's license in state of residence, three (3) years driving experience in the United States, and acceptable driving record
