Job Description:

Power Platform Governance Lead - Erlanger, KY

Power Platform Lead

Description

The Power Platform Lead is accountable for leading and managing ADM’s substantial Microsoft Power Platform estate comprising Applications, Automations, Analytics, AI Bots, and other services. Microsoft markets these platforms directly to business users, and by default, gives access to O365-licensed users to develop solutions on them. This poses both advantages (productivity, innovation) and challenges (cost, technical debt, risks) to ADM. The Power Platform Lead is accountable for tailoring the company’s use of the platform to allow the business to realize value in the platform while limiting the various harms that it can pose.

The Platform Lead will run governance on the platform, manage financial performance of the platform, and ensure the imperatives of security, avoidance of technical debt, and orderly development and operations are enforced.

The Power Platform Lead will report into ADM’s Cloud CoE and ADM’s Enterprise Architecture practice overall. The Cloud CoE will identify the imperatives he or she needs to drive out the platform. In this regard, the Platform will work with Service (Product) Owners for each area of the Platform (BI, Apps, Automation, etc…) to enforce those imperatives.

This is primarily a governance, management, and leadership position, though knowledge of the technical workloads and platform technologies, development processes and methods, and architecture will also be needed. The ideal candidate will combine expertise from business and technical areas.
