for Manufacturing Assembly - Technical Assistants at our facility in Austin, TX. In this position you would be a key part of the Operations team. You will build a career with a high-tech company working in a hands-on environment. You will have the opportunity to rotate through multiple departments, gaining exposure to the broad range of equipment, processes, and technologies employed in our operation.
Responsibilities
Perform assembly, testing and verification of electronic assemblies in a technical, computer-based environment and ensure quality of final product Execute production schedules and highlight issues for quality and output improvement Communicate status of operation and improvements in a timely manner to leaders Work in a team environment to implement improvement ideas Utilize the computer-based system to enter inventory and production transactions Utilizes continuous improvements and assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes. Maintain safe and clean work environment by adhering to established policies and procedures Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required Flexibility to work on 1st shift (6:30am-3pm) or 2nd Shift (2:30pm-11pm) and overtime as needed Capability to lift and move boxes of product up to 35 lbs. Ability to stand for an extended period of time Ability to move to surrounding workstations Ability to read and follow work instructions in English Ability for continuous learning Knowledge of semiconductors or Surface-mount technology (SMT) and clean room procedures is a plus
