In this role you'll assemble induction coils for use with the industry's number one brand of Cap Sealing Systems. Apply now as the position will be filled quickly.This is a 1st-shift position working Monday through Friday. Shift start time is generally flexible and overtime is available on Saturdays as needed.
Responsibilities:Assembles coils, base plates, tunnels, and various sub-assemblies for equipmentCuts and glues ceramic and ferrite components into housings according to drawings and customer specifications.Modifies raw materials according to specification through use of water press, wet saw, and drilling as required.Performs hand-winding of induction heating coils according to drawings and diagrams and uses epoxy compound to coat product as requiredFills electrodes with appropriate compounds and uses mechanical equipment to ensure adequate distribution through the productEnsures finished product is completed with appropriate level of quality and cleanliness according to customer expectationsSolders wires with solder pot or hand solder, depending on wire size, and solders lugs onto wire endsUses the ERP system to obtain drawings and document manufacturing activity and job completion.Performs other tasks as required. Qualifications
Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalent.At least 6 months experience in an assembly position or other related experience in a manufacturing environment.Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprintsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs as neededAbility to successfully operate wet saw, water press, and other basic equipmentKnowledge and ability to use light hand tools, hand solder, and solder potAbility to work independently to complete tasks according to specifications
