Maintaining awareness of departmental needs and requirements; communicating departmental plans and strategies; maintaining briefings; and assisting in coordinating input for data calls, such as budget exhibit submissions, congressional requests for information and budgetary drills
Support Program Officers by assisting with technical planning and review of performer's progress; overseeing model-scale, large-scale, and/or full-scale tests; reviewing and analyzing test data; budget development and oversight; briefing development; transition agreement development and implementation; and communication with the S&T and R&D communitiesCoordinate and schedule reviews, technical meetings, program meetings, conferences, and demonstrations with government authorities, program managers, other program support team members, and other stakeholdersSupport the management and execution of programs by updating Task Planning Sheets, Mission Model Canvas sheets, quad sheets, Fact Sheets, and drafting portfolio review slidesPrepare and coordinate correspondence, presentations, reviews, reports, and responses to ONR, high level Navy, congressional and other internal and external requests for informationProvide technical support and coordinate conferences, demonstrations, expositions, events, meetings, technical reviews, etc. to include physically presenting displays and assisting with display transportation, setup and staffing of event booths as directed or required by Program Management or Program Officer personnelCoordinate monthly Division staff meetings and weekly team planning meetings, maintain task lists and prepare documents for public release, as requiredQualifications
Must be a US CitizenActive SECRET DoD clearanceA bachelor's degree from an accredited college or universityA master's degree from an accredited college or university may be substituted for two (2) years of experienceTen (10) years of experience in engineering, mathematics, or science, including biology, chemistry, computer science, and physicsRecent experience (last 5 years) in federal acquisition and budgetingExperience in S&T program managementExperience in technical program management of programs in excess of $1MExperience in planning methodologies to analyze research programs and development of databases for technical and programmatic tracking of key deliverables and milestonesExperience in evaluating and developing analytical models, procedures, and techniquesExperience in executing and reviewing technical studies, analysis, and design activitiesProficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Power Point, Outlook, SharePoint, and Excel)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsPreferred :Experience collaborating with senior government, OPNAV, SYSCOM, Warfare Centers, Secretariat, or OSD personnelExperience supporting senior Navy S&T leadership or programs on complex tasksExperience with DoD RDT&E program/budget exhibits & RDT&E strategic plansExperience in one or more of the following focus areas: (1) Naval/Marine Corps Naval Engineering, (2) Naval/Marine Corps Power and Energy, (3) Naval/Marine Corps Materials, (4) Naval/Marine Corps Undersea Systems and (5) Naval/Marine Corps Manufacturing
