DAV MN is a congressionally chartered 501C4 non-profit veterans service organization. The DAV MN is looking for a highly-motivated residential donation pickup service driver to collect and deliver donations of textiles and household items that provide critical funding for our programs and services. The position is full-time with a starting pay of a minimum of $17 per hour based on professional driving experience. Candidates need to be comfortable with working outdoors in all weather conditions with minimal supervision. A clean driving record with some professional driving experience, ability to pass a DOT physical, ability to lift 50 lbs at or above waist level throughout the day and the ability to navigate stairs are critical requirements. Drivers must be able to follow written and oral directions and perform face to face customer service with donors and potential donors. As field representatives of the DAV MN, Drivers must be professional and courteous in all interactions. In addition, this position may also be tasked with duties in support of DAV MN operations not otherwise stated.
