Head of Engagement and Fund Development
Real-world impact. Life-changing outcomes.CommQuest is currently seeking a full-time Engagement and Fund Development leader. This position is responsible for engagement with key stakeholders in our mission, including employees, community partners and funders all in service to the mission of building a safe and welcoming community in which more people survive and live their best lives. This role involves engagement strategy, marketing, fund development, business development, employee communications and community relations. This position collaborates with senior management and other departments to achieve organizational goals.

Build valuable relationships with community partners, volunteers, and staff
Be an ambassador for our services and a critical member of the leadership team
Make a real difference addressing the mental health needs in our community
What is CommQuest?
CommQuest Services is one of the largest non-profit mental health, addiction recovery, and social services organizations in Northeast Ohio, working with clients from more than 34 counties in 12 facilities through more than 20 programs. We help people make positive changes in their lives through in-patient, outpatient and school-based programs, along with supportive services - from basic needs to employment assistance.

Essential Responsibilities:
Strategy: Develop an internal and external engagement plan that supports our organizational strategy and mission
Fund Development: Develop and execute capital, operational, annual fund drive, fundraising events and programmatic gifts strategies.
Community Relations: Maintain and build relationships with key donors and community organizations.
Marketing: Plan and execute marketing campaigns that support the business plan, strategy and mission
Employee Engagement: Support Human Resources and business leaders in communication and engagement with team members
Operate in compliance with organizations values, ethical standards and organization policies.
Develop and monitor budgets
Provide administrative and supervisory support to team members
Requirements:
7-10 years experience working in a marketing, communications, fund development role required
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Governmental Affairs, Communications, or related field preferred.
Reliable Transportation
Availability for evening and weekend events
